Mohamed Drame

Mohamed Drame was born in August 1969 in Mauritania (North-West Africa) from an black African father and a Moorish/Arab mother. Mr. Drame is married and father to a baby girl.
Mr. Drame grew up and studied in Mauritania where he graduated in 1993 with a Master’s in foreign languages and civilizations. While still a student, Mr. Drame assisted his sister with the publication of her women-focused monthly magazine, acting as a manager and a translator for the articles written in French into Arabic. Soon after his graduation, he worked as a journalist and sub-editor for a local dual language (French and Arabic) weekly newspaper.
In 1994, Mr. Drame joined the US Embassy in Nouakchott, Mauritania, for 5 years, acting as the administrative assistant for its security section and accumulating yearly meritorious awards for his stellar performance and managerial skills. He later moved to the US where he got naturalized in 2008 and immediately joined the clearance industry as a US Government contractor, accumulating various positions in the Pentagon, Quantico and MacDill AFB, ranging from French and Arabic linguist to Senior Media analyst and cultural advisor. Mr. Drame returns from more than 4 years of continuous deployment in Europe and Africa in support of the US Special Forces.
